Dong Pagoda Yen Tu, situated on the highest peak of the Yen Tu mountain range (1,068m), is one of the most unique pagodas in Vietnam. Constructed entirely of bronze, it glistens brilliantly amid the clouds and sky, creating an extremely impressive scene.
Dong Pagoda was built modeled after Dau Keo Pagoda (Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh) with an area of nearly 20m² and a weight of 70 tons. Each roof tile weighs approximately 4kg, and each of the 4 pillars weighs 1 ton. The bronze bell and gong weigh over 250kg.

2.1 1 Mot Mai Pagoda
Mot Mai Pagoda, situated at an altitude of 1,068m in the Yen Tu mountain range, is one of the most unique and renowned pagodas in Vietnam. Clinging precariously to a cliffside, backing against the mountain rock with only a single roof, the pagoda possesses a rustic and modest beauty.
Mot Mai Pagoda was built in the 13th century, associated with the story of King Tran Nhan Tong, who came here to practice Buddhism after ceding the throne to his son. King Tran Nhan Tong had a small hermitage erected to read books and compose scriptures here, which was later called Ly Tran Hermitage. Following King Tran Nhan Tong's passing into Nirvana, the hermitage was converted into Bo Da Pagoda, and due to its unique architecture with only half a roof, it came to be known as Mot Mai Pagoda (Single-Roof Pagoda).
