Yen Trung Lake – A romantic eco-tourism destination in Quang Ninh
Yen Trung Lake is not only a large freshwater lake, but it is also surrounded by pine hills and long roads, ideal for visitors to enjoy the lush green of nature. Without many stalls or the bustling atmosphere of other tourist spots, here there are only rows of pine trees whispering in the wind and unique flora.

The first impression of visitors when coming here is the refreshing green of the vast lake and the gentle green of the straight Masson pine hills embracing the winding road. Visitors can listen to the whispering pines and admire the calm, barely rippling lake.

In the middle of Yen Trung Lake are small, lush green islets. In the rainy season, the lake's highest water level is about 13m, and around 6m in the dry season; the air at the lake is usually cool and fresh. Visitors can take a boat to the middle of the lake and camp on the islets, enjoying the poetic setting with family and friends.

What delights many visitors when coming here is the cool, refreshing feeling of the landscape blending mountains, water, and sky. Dubbed a miniature Da Lat, the lake retains a relatively pristine scenery, especially the pine forests with trees standing in straight rows reflecting on the lake's surface, turning the landscape into an ink wash painting.

In 2018, Yen Trung Lake was equipped with lighting and water systems, gates, fences, landscaped grounds, roads, and a parking lot. In addition, several landscape features received investment, such as the Garden of Eden, Love Bridge, Moon-Viewing Pavilion, and the Yen Trung Lake lettering on the floating islet.

Uong Bi City regularly directs local authorities to coordinate closely in managing tourist service businesses operated by local households to ensure aesthetics, natural landscapes, and security and order. Notably, Yen Trung Lake tourist area has been recognized as a provincial-level eco-tourism site.
