Yen Tu Mountain is where King Tran Nhan Tong entered monastic life and founded the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. Legend has it that when the King came here to practice asceticism, many imperial concubines followed him.

When reaching Giai Oan Stream, the King decided to send them back to their hometowns, but many still stayed behind at the foot of the mountain to settle into villages. Thus, villages such as Nuong Village and Mu Village were born. However, over time, these villages gradually disappeared.

From ancient tales handed down through generations, Quang Ninh province reconstructed Nuong Village with 50 houses, enclosed by two streets in the village style of the Tran Dynasty. The houses were built with fired clay brick walls and rammed earth walls, combined with ironwood gates and doors.
