Thien Cung Cave – An earthly paradise tucked away in Ha Long Bay is located in the southwest of Ha Long Bay and covers a fairly large area of about 10,000 square meters. The cave's interior structure is remarkably diverse, featuring multiple levels and chambers adorned with countless uniquely shaped, magnificent limestone stalactites and stalagmites.

The cave was named “Thien Cung” (Heavenly Palace) because inside there is a skylight through which sunlight shines into the cave. These rays of light reflect off the limestone formations, creating a magical, shimmering luminescence reminiscent of an imperial banquet. Inside the cave, there is also a phosphorescent layer on the cave surfaces, adding even more to its glittering, magnificent beauty.

In addition, when visiting Thien Cung Cave, you will hear the legend of the Dragon wedding here. Legend has it that in ancient times, the cave was the dwelling place of the Dragon King. One year, a severe drought struck, and villagers set out together to seek the Dragon King's help, but none returned. However, a couple was determined to find the king to help their fellow villagers. Enduring countless hardships and trials, they finally succeeded. Later, the Dragon Prince, son of the king, fell in love with their daughter. This very cave was the venue for their lavish wedding celebration that lasted 7 days and 7 nights.

To reach the entrance of Thien Cung Cave, you will follow a cliffside trail sheltered by lush green foliage. In stark contrast to the rather narrow cave entrance, stepping inside reveals a brightly illuminated cave that will leave you in awe.

The cave can be divided into 3 main chambers. Each chamber presents completely distinct vistas, with uniquely shaped stalactites sparking visitors' imagination. The limestone stalactites hang down like magnificent, grand chandeliers.
