A delegation of over 100 Russian tourists recently chose Quang Ninh to host a 5-day, 4-night conference and leisure retreat program.
The tourist group experienced a heritage journey connecting Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, participated in kayaking, explored caves, savored local cuisine, and simultaneously conducted conferences and seminars throughout their stay. This is an international visitor group characterized by extended stays, high spending, and diverse consumption of tourism services.
The arrival of the Russian delegation in Quang Ninh is the result of the province's recent efforts in promoting and expanding international visitor markets. Earlier in March, Quang Ninh Province welcomed a famtrip delegation from the Ural Tourism Association, Russian Federation, to survey tourism products and services, thereby progressively connecting with travel agencies and source markets. Concurrently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also organized a tourism promotion and networking program connecting Fun and Sun Vietnam Co., Ltd. — a travel agency specializing in the Russian tourist market — with local tourism businesses across the province.
With the advantages of synchronized infrastructure, premium resort products, distinctive heritage landscapes, and the capability to accommodate large-scale groups, Quang Ninh is steadily asserting its potential as an enticing destination for Russian travelers — a segment known for extended stays, high expenditures, and bringing substantial added value to the local tourism sector.
