Celebrating the 89th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mining Workers - Tradition of the Coal Industry, on the evening of November 12, at October 30 Square, the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee organized the special socio-political art program “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land”. Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Comrade Bui Van Khang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Vu Anh Tuan, General Director of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV).

The socio-political art program “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land” was a continuous journey from the past to the future of the Quang Ninh land - where “Discipline and Unity” is not only a historical slogan but also a spirit, a pioneering flame illuminating today’s development journey. From “coal in the heart of the earth” - a symbol of strength and fortitude, to “light and aspirations” - a symbol of innovation, creativity, and leadership. This was a symphony of socio-political ideology, art, and technology, honoring the heroic tradition, present strength, and future aspirations of the mining people. At the same time, it served as a profound tribute to generations of miners, a proud anthem of the resilient, creative, compassionate, and pioneering people of Quang Ninh.
The program was deeply imbued with the distinct colors and hallmarks of the Quang Ninh Mining region.
The program “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land”, themed from “Discipline and Unity” to “Aspirations to Lead”, comprised three continuous and emotionally cohesive chapters: Chapter 1: From the Deep Earth - The Flame of Faith; Chapter 2: Discipline - Unity: The Source of Strength; Chapter 3: Quang Ninh - Aspirations to Rise in the New Era.
Songs about the Mining region created an atmosphere full of emotion and pride for the audience.
The program was a harmonious blend of music, circus, reportage, and modern performance, gathering top artists. 30,000 spectators present at the venue, including multiple generations of cadres, workers, and miners, joined their voices, shared their heartbeats, and took pride in singing along to songs bearing the “Quang Ninh trademark”: “Toi la nguoi tho lo” (I am a Pit Miner) with singers Trong Tan and Do Hoang Hiep; “Cung nhau di Hong binh” (Marching Together as Red Soldiers) performed by the Oplus band; “Dang la mua xuan nguoi tho” (The Party is the Miner's Spring) through the vocals of singer Trong Tan… In particular, the audience was swept with intense emotion as they relived the heroic, unyielding atmosphere through the songs “Dat mo anh hung” (Heroic Mining Land) and “Tinh ca nguoi tho mo” (Love Song of the Miner) performed with the warm, resounding voice of People's Artist Quang Tho.
The fireworks finale after the opening performance thrilled the entire audience.
The program also welcomed back many young artists from the Mining region such as Den and Bich Phuong, along with the participation of other famous singers like Ho Ngoc Ha, Hoang Thuy Linh, Toc Tien, Truc Nhan, (S)Trong Trong Hieu, Quang Hung MasterD… A series of favorite hits such as “Tu phu”, “See tinh”, “Vi nha”, “Mang tien ve cho me”, “Duong ve nha”, “Con duong toi”, “Hao quang”… created a magnificent, emotionally explosive artistic space.

The artistic performances were meticulously staged by more than 1,000 actors and artists practicing day and night. In particular, the participation of circus performers produced impressive and distinctive acts. Furthermore, an array of stage effects, smoke, fire, and pyrotechnics seamlessly combined with modern performance technology, a K2 sound system, laser lighting, and 3D mapping technology, treating spectators to an unforgettable “musical feast”.
During the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province also called upon concert attendees to share in the losses of their compatriots in Central Vietnam, thereby contributing a small part to helping local residents soon stabilize their lives.

The 120-minute program was broadcast live on channels QTV1 and QTV3, livestreamed on the fanpage of Quang Ninh Newspaper and Radio - Television, and widely relayed across provincial and municipal newspapers, radio, and television stations nationwide.
Continuing the success of “Ha Long Concert 2025”, the concert “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land” was not only a gift of appreciation to miners, but also a distinctive cultural-tourism product, contributing to positioning the brand of Quang Ninh - a land of heritage, dynamic and creative, while promoting the growth of the night-time economy and cultural industries.
