Covering nearly 20 ha at the foot of the Đông Triều arc-shaped mountain range, with a “mountain behind, river in view” setting and convenient transport links, Quảng Ninh Gate Tourism Area is an ideal destination for visitors traveling to Quảng Ninh.
The tourism area was designed as a unique complex combining lush mountains and clear waters, tradition and modernity, Vietnamese culture and natural landscapes, as well as distinctive cultural features from other countries.
As soon as they enter the tourism area, visitors will be surprised by the water park with its many exciting games. Beside the clear blue lake, visitors can explore the production process of Vietnam’s finest oak wine. Here, visitors can see images of charming black-toothed female vendors beside rows of agricultural products and traditional handicrafts. They can then learn the art of calligraphy and write their own calligraphy works; explore Northwest stilt houses; join a bamboo dance; or dress up as young men and women from the highlands.

Visitors can also learn to make pottery, grow crops, harvest rice, thresh grain, pound rice, and make wine…; learn the bamboo dance, play ô ăn quan, cross a monkey bridge, bail water, use a fishing basket to catch fish, catch ducks blindfolded, catch loaches in a jar, strike a gong blindfolded, and play the two-person and three-person clogs game…

Quảng Ninh Gate also stages water puppet performances at its water puppet theater and organizes visits to a zoo home to animals such as ostriches, zebras, peacocks, goats, sheep, and rabbits… At the zoo, visitors are free to play with and feed the animals using permitted types of food.
