Ha Long Dolphin Palace consists of two main blocks: the Dolphin block and the Seashell block, connected to each other by a system of elevators and escalators. The dome above is designed in the shape of a snail shell nearly 320m long. From afar, the design resembles a swimming dolphin, which is why it was named the Dolphin Palace.
