Ba Dinh Square is Vietnam’s largest square, located on Hung Vuong Street in front of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh. It has witnessed many major events in the nation’s history. On September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence here, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
One Pillar Pagoda
The pagoda is also known as Dien Huu Pagoda or Lien Hoa Dai. It is located on the street of the same name in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. Not only is it regarded as having the most unique artistic architecture in Vietnam and Asia, but One Pillar Pagoda is also a spiritual destination and a thousand-year-old cultural symbol of Hanoi. One Pillar Pagoda was honored by the Asia Record Organization with the record of “the pagoda with the most unique architecture in Asia.” The pagoda’s original structure was supported by wooden beams firmly attached to a stone pillar. Its current structure consists of the pillar, the Lien Hoa lotus platform, and the pagoda roof. One Pillar Pagoda was also once embossed on the face of the 5000-dong metal coin as a proud image representing the preservation and popularization of the pagoda’s unique features.

Tran Quoc Pagoda

Tran Quoc Pagoda was originally called Khai Quoc Pagoda and was built in 541 during the Early Ly Dynasty. It was renamed Tran Quoc Pagoda during the reign of King Le Hy Tong (1681 – 1705), expressing the hope that it would help people drive away natural disasters and bring peace to the entire population. The pagoda is located on an island in the eastern part of West Lake. Today, it preserves many valuable statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, mainly placed in the upper sanctuary. The most notable is the wooden statue of Shakyamuni Buddha entering Nirvana, painted red and gilded, which is considered one of the most beautiful Nirvana statues in Vietnam.

Ha Nam
Tam Chuc Pagoda
Tam Chuc Pagoda is also known as the Tam Chuc Tourist Area complex. It is renowned as an attractive spiritual tourism destination in Vietnam. The tourist area features Vietnam’s largest natural lake, surrounded by limestone mountains. Six small mountains rise from the middle of the lake, making the scenery poetic and picturesque. While boating on the lake, visitors can visit a small island and the communal house there, called Tam Chuc Communal House – a structure featuring the full essence of Northern Vietnam’s temple and pagoda architecture.

Ha Long

Thien Cung Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay, thanks to its expansive area, multiple levels and chambers, and countless limestone stalactites and stalagmites with unusual shapes. At the inner passage, the cave opens to the outside through a small entrance overlooking a small bay enclosed by a mountain arc. Today, an elaborate system of beautiful stairways and walkways has been built both outside and inside the cave, along with lighting systems that make it easy for visitors to explore.

Dinh Huong Islet
The final destination of the 5D4N Sapa Tet Holiday Tour is Dinh Huong Islet, an extremely beautiful small island in the middle of Ha Long Bay. Dinh Huong Islet is a sacred symbol printed on Vietnam’s 200-thousand-dong banknote. From afar, you can see Dinh Huong Islet standing prominently in the open sea. It is a massive rocky mountain resting on four thin stone slabs and blocking the passage. The rock has the shape of a giant incense burner in the middle of the vast sea.
