With the goal of striving for economic growth of over 14% in 2025, Quang Ninh’s services and tourism sectors are being strengthened in the final months of the year to contribute to the province’s overall success.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh simultaneously had to undertake numerous new tasks and important events, but under the province’s decisive direction and with the efforts of sectors, localities and the business community… the province’s socio-economic development continued to achieve many notable results. In particular, many indicators in the services and tourism sectors increased compared with the same period in 2024, including: Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the first 10 months increased by 19.25%; revenue from accommodation and food services was estimated to increase by 22.98%; revenue from arts, entertainment and recreation activities increased by 15.03%; and transport and warehousing revenue increased by 30.11%. In the first 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh’s tourism sector welcomed an estimated 18.43 million visitors, up 10% year on year, while total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 48,362 billion, up 21% year on year. In addition, the export turnover of enterprises in the province reached USD 3.386 billion, up 17.3% year on year; import turnover of enterprises was estimated at USD 3.757 billion, up 16.7% year on year.
The Quang Ninh OCOP Autumn-Winter Fair 2025 attracted large numbers of visitors for sightseeing and shopping.
These results were achieved because, from the beginning of the year, the province directed the implementation of numerous promotion, demand-stimulation and linkage activities with tourism and travel businesses, companies and major corporations, aiming to strongly attract domestic and international visitors to Quang Ninh. A wide range of attractive cultural, entertainment, sports and tourism events and activities were organized, including: Ha Long Summer Tourism Week 2025, Ha Long Carnaval 2025 and a series of events, the OCOP Fair, the 2025 Miss Global Vietnam Sea Pageant, VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2025, the 2025 Yen Tu Mountain Climbing Tournament, Aqua Warriors HaLong Bay 2025…
In particular, implementing Plan 235/KH-UBND (dated 16/9/2025) of the provincial People’s Committee on launching the 2025 tourism demand-stimulation campaign under the theme “Quang Ninh - Experiencing Heritage, Connecting the World,” the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the provincial Tourism Association to organize a conference announcing the Quang Ninh Tourism Demand-Stimulation Campaign 2025. The campaign is being implemented with a rich series of events and activities, including: Artistic fireworks displays 3 days/week; the Halo Bay Show, featuring artistic performances combined with water music and lighting, on all days of the week; introductions and promotions of Quang Ninh’s ethnic music, dance, music and arts; a moonlit music night; a New Year’s artistic program; the “Dragon Bay Takes Flight” kite and paragliding festival; the “Dragon Bay Rides the Waves” boat-racing festival; the Ha Long Marina Mid-Autumn Festival; a cultural and sports festival of Quang Ninh’s ethnic groups; the 2025 “Yen Tu - The Colors of Meditative Autumn” festival; an international puppetry festival; major sports tournaments…
A highlight this year, the Ha Long Concert 2025 was held on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of Quang Ninh province, under the theme “Heritage Spirit, Illuminating the Future.” It attracted more than 30,000 spectators in person and millions of online viewers. The program turned the concert into a milestone in Quang Ninh’s series of distinctive year-end tourism and cultural events.
Following the success of Ha Long Concert 2025, at 20h00 on 12/11, a concert entitled “Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land” will take place at 30/10 Square. The program will blend music, circus, reportage and modern performances, bringing together leading artists and promising to create an even more spectacular artistic space filled with emotion. The program celebrates the 89th Traditional Day of Mining Region Workers - “The Indomitable Mining Land” Day on 12/11 (1936-2025). Through pioneering and professional concerts, Quang Ninh will gradually build its brand as a destination for major music, cultural and artistic events, attracting increasing numbers of visitors to the province.

Also part of the key events celebrating the 89th Traditional Day of Mining Region Workers - “The Indomitable Mining Land” Day, from 5-16/11 the province is organizing a special film week, “Quang Ninh Mining Land - Imprints and Aspirations,” at the provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace. The province will offer free screenings of films on revolutionary and historical themes, honoring soldiers and workers, patriotism and the aspiration to contribute, awakening the pride of Mining Region residents and love for their homeland… The films are selected from the list of feature films chosen for screening during the film week celebrating the 24th Vietnam Film Festival. The first days of the special film week recorded enthusiastic responses from large numbers of members of the public who came to enjoy the screenings.
Alongside this, from 1-16/11, the “Best Singing Voice on Quang Ninh Radio and Television 2025” competition will take place, attracting 100 contestants from many provinces and cities across the country, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen… The competition is a prestigious music platform with a long tradition in Quang Ninh province, where talented singers are discovered and nurtured, contributing to spreading the artistic values of the Mining Region…
With an expected 2.85 million visitors and tourism revenue of over VND 8,600 billion in the final 2 months of this year, making a positive contribution to the province’s economic growth, and as part of the implementation of the Q4/2025 tourism demand-stimulation campaign, the province will continue to maximize the series of events, including: an artistic program celebrating Christmas, the 1st National Travel Industry Day; the Vietnam Culinary Festival; the grand ceremony commemorating Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong and receiving the World Cultural Heritage Certificate for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Scenic Landscape Complex… These activities will help create a ripple effect and leave an impression, attracting visitors to Quang Ninh.
