With the goal of striving for economic growth of over 14% in 2025, Quang Ninh's service and tourism sector is being boosted in the final months of the year to contribute to the province's overall success.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh simultaneously had to roll out numerous new tasks and major events. However, under the resolute guidance of the province and the efforts of various sectors, localities, and the business community, the province's socio-economic landscape continued to achieve outstanding results. In particular, many indicators in the service and tourism sector increased compared to the same period in 2024: total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in 10 months increased by 19.25%; accommodation and food service revenue was estimated to increase by 22.98%; revenue from art, entertainment, and recreational activities increased by 15.03%; warehousing and transportation revenue surged by 30.11%. In the first 10 months of 2025, Quang Ninh tourism welcomed an estimated 18.43 million visitor arrivals, up 10% year-on-year, with total tourism revenue estimated at 48,362 billion VND, up 21% year-on-year. In addition, export turnover of provincial enterprises reached 3.386 billion USD, up 17.3% year-on-year; enterprises' import turnover was estimated at 3.757 billion USD, up 16.7% year-on-year.

To achieve such outcomes, right from the beginning of the year, the province directed the implementation of various promotion, stimulus, and linkage activities with tourism and travel enterprises, major corporations, and companies to strongly attract domestic and international tourists to Quang Ninh. A series of attractive cultural, entertainment, sports, and tourism events and activities were organized, such as: Ha Long Summer Tourism Week 2025, Carnaval Ha Long 2025 and its chain of events, OCOP Fairs, Miss Vietnam Sea Global 2025, VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2025, Yen Tu Mountain Climbing Tournament 2025, Aqua Warriors HaLong Bay 2025...
In particular, implementing Plan No. 235/KH-UBND (dated September 16, 2025) of the Provincial People's Committee on rolling out the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Campaign under the theme "Quang Ninh - Heritage Experience, Connecting the World", the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism collaborated with the Provincial Tourism Association to hold a conference announcing the Quang Ninh 2025 Tourism Stimulus Campaign. The campaign is rolled out with a diverse series of events and activities, including: artistic fireworks displays 3 days/week; the Halo Bay Show performing arts combining water fountain music and light on all days of the week; introducing and promoting Quang Ninh's traditional song, dance, music, and art; moonlight music nights; New Year welcoming art programs; "Dragon Bay Takes Flight" kite and paragliding festival; "Dragon Bay Rides the Waves" boat racing festival; Ha Long Marina Mid-Autumn Festival; cultural and sports festival of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh Province; "Yen Tu - Meditative Autumn Colors" 2025 festival; international puppet festival; major sports tournaments...
Prominently this year, the Ha Long Concert 2025, held on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of Quang Ninh Province's establishment under the theme "Heritage Spirit, Shining Future", attracted more than 30,000 live attendees and millions of online views. The program turned the concert night into a hallmark in Quang Ninh's distinctive year-end tourism and cultural event series.
Continuing the success of Ha Long Concert 2025, at 20:00 on this November 12, the concert "Quang Ninh - Heroic Mining Land" will take place at October 30th Square. The program is a blend of music, circus arts, reportage, and modern performance, gathering leading artists and promising to create a magnificent, even more emotionally explosive artistic space. The program celebrates the 89th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mining Workers - "Indomitable Mining Land" Day on November 12 (1936-2025). Pioneering spirit and professionalism throughout the concerts will gradually help Quang Ninh build its brand as a rendezvous for prestigious music, cultural, and artistic events, attracting an increasing number of tourists to Quang Ninh.

Also part of the key series of events celebrating the 89th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mining Workers - "Indomitable Mining Land" Day, from November 5 to 16, the province is organizing a special film week titled "Quang Ninh Mining Land - Imprints and Aspirations" at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace. The province offers free screenings of cinematic works on revolutionary and historical themes, honoring the images of soldiers and working people, patriotism, and aspirations for dedication, inspiring pride among the people of the Mining Land and love for the homeland... selected from the list of feature films chosen for screening during the Film Week welcoming the 24th Vietnam Film Festival. The initial days of the special film week recorded enthusiastic responses from a wide audience attending the screenings.
Along with that, from November 1 to 16, the "Quang Ninh Radio and Television Singing Contest 2025" takes place, attracting 100 contestants from various provinces and cities nationwide such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen... The contest is a prestigious musical playground with a long-standing tradition in Quang Ninh Province, where talented vocalists are discovered and nurtured, contributing to spreading the artistic values of the Mining Land...
With expectations to attract 2.85 million visitor arrivals and generate tourism revenue of over 8,600 billion VND in the last 2 months of this year, contributing positively to the province's economic growth and implementing the Q4/2025 Tourism Stimulus Campaign, the province continues to fully exploit a series of events such as: Christmas Celebration Art Program; 1st National Travel Festival; Vietnam Culinary Festival; Grand Memorial Ceremony of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong and receipt of the World Cultural Heritage Certificate for Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscapes Complex... Thereby creating widespread appeal and leaving an impression that draws tourists to Quang Ninh.
