4 Tips for visiting Co To Lighthouse
To ensure your trip to Co To Lighthouse goes smoothly and is filled with enjoyable experiences, keep these handy tips in mind before visiting.
Because fresh water is scarce on the island, the keepers often collect rainwater from the lighthouse railings or rooftop for cleaning the lighthouse and daily living needs. Therefore, when visiting, guests should take off their footwear before climbing the stairs to help keep the lighthouse clean and pristine.
Additionally, consider visiting during the day rather than at night to enjoy the clearest and most vivid panoramic views from the lighthouse. Daylight travel is also much safer, as the road leading here at night is quite deserted with numerous winding and hazardous curves. In particular, do not use automatic scooters to travel here.
