Cai Chien Island – Where the beauty of forest and sea converges in Quang Ninh
Cai Chien Island is the only island commune of Hai Ha District, recently emerging as a destination for those who love the tranquility of the forest and the sea. Cai Chien is also convenient for routes exploring the eastern region, coming down from Binh Lieu or from Ha Long through Mong Cai.

The island covers an area of over 2,550 ha, primarily forests and sea. The natural scenery here remains quite pristine, something not easily found everywhere. To get to Cai Chien Island, visitors can travel by coach, join a tour, or ride a motorbike to the center of Quang Ha Town, then take the Ghenh Vo ferry to the island.

There are 3 scheduled ferry trips each day, with each trip taking about 40 minutes. Visitors wishing to stay overnight on the island can choose homestays, container houses, or rent tents. Dozens of families in Cai Chien offer homestay services.

If they do not have a means of transport, visitors can rent electric carts, motorbikes, or bicycles at guesthouses and homestays for convenient exploration of the island.

Like many other islands in Quang Ninh Province, the natural landscape on Cai Chien Island includes beaches such as Van Ca, Cai Chien, and Dau Rong. Among them, Cau Rong beach is the most popular because there are already services catering to visitors.

The sand here is fine and stretches for 2km, flanked by the sea below and decades-old casuarina forests above, making it ideal for camping, pitching tents, and group recreational activities.
