When is the best time to visit Dragon Park Ha Long?
Ha Long has a fairly mild climate. However, to fully enjoy outdoor activities, you should visit between March and May or September and November. During these periods, the weather is cool and there is little rain. Summer (June – August) is the peak season, but the weather is quite hot and sudden rain showers are common.
How to get to Dragon Park Ha Long
From Hanoi, you can easily get to the park by various means of transport. Limousine vans or coaches from My Dinh and Giap Bat to Bai Chay are convenient options, taking approximately 2.5 – 3 hours. If you have a private car, take the Hanoi – Hai Phong – Ha Long expressway; the journey takes just over 2 hours on roads that are scenic and easy to travel.

For visitors from Central or Southern Vietnam, you can fly to Van Don Airport or Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong). Then travel another 50–60km by taxi or shuttle to Sun World.
Ticket prices and opening hours
Currently, admission to Dragon Park Ha Long is 300,000đ per adult and 200,000đ per child from 1m–1.4m tall. Admission is free for children under 1m.
Opening hours: from 9h00 – 18h00 Monday to Sunday.
