Sung Sot Cave is located on Bo Hon Island, in the center of Ha Long Bay, Bai Chay Ward, Quang Ninh Province. Sung Sot Cave consists of 2 main chambers. In the first chamber, the ceiling is covered with a smooth, shimmering “velvet carpet,” while clusters of stalactite lamps sparkle brightly, captivating visitors.

The second chamber reveals a completely different scene, with a vast cavern capable of accommodating up to a thousand people. Venturing deeper inside, visitors can admire formations associated with the legend of Saint Giong. Beside the entrance and exit is a stone formation shaped like Saint Giong’s horse and his long sword. Inside the cave are small ponds resembling the footprints of Giong’s horse.
